Attraction Magazine
Interview and photography for Attraction Magazine 2022
“It all started in 2021, Omar Contri emailed Tine Isachsen about working on a cover of an LP. Things developed quite organically from there and the pair went on to collaborate on a soundtrack which accompanied Isachsen’s first book Heat Climbs the Body, released in October 2021. A collection of selected works by Tine, an exploration into the duality between beauty and darkness.”

Tine Isachsen on Tactile Sensibility
In the self-published Heat Climbs the Body – a collection of selected works from 2015-2021 – artist Tine Isachsen combines raw edge with tactile sensibility. We sat down with Tine to discuss her new book, and what inspires her artistic tone of voice.
Erotic Fairytales
The book "Syndige folkeeventyr" presents 36 erotic folktales that were collected and transcribed by Asbjørnsen and Moe and several of these tales have never been previously published. The book features stories gathered from regions all across Norway, and each tale is illustrated by a different artist, resulting in a dynamic and unique collection. The inclusion of contemporary artistic voices has transformed this book into far more than a simple anthology of folktales.
